Volunteer
Volunteering your time and skills is a highly effective
way of supporting the work at Liberation. All our staff work on
a voluntary basis and Liberation strongly encourages volunteering,
as it is essential in order to carry out our work. Liberation
highly values both the time and commitment given to us by volunteers.
Positions Available:
Fundraiser
Previous experience is highly desirable.
Researcher
The area of research can be assigned to match the volunteer’s
interests and abilities. Liberation currently needs researchers
to:
• Monitor human rights conditions and developments in various
countries to assist with country campaigns
• Assist with research and developing our women’s
work.
Website
The volunteer will assist the web designer in developing the Liberation
website by organising and selecting relevant materials to post
onto the website.
Finance and Administration
This position is based in the Liberation office, Hampstead. The
volunteer will help with administrative tasks such as filing,
responding to emails, updating memberships and generally assisting
the general-secretary in daily tasks.
Applicants should be self-motivated and have
a strong interest in international human rights. A minimum commitment
of three months is preferred and volunteers can also work from
home.

Contribute to our Journal Liberation
Liberation publishes its own bi-monthly journal
Liberation. The readership is comprised of our individual members,
MPs, Trade Unions and other affiliated organisations.
Writers wanted
